<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrally issue a license key or a license file according to the model of a device and the function of an application. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing method for managing the issuance of a license that controls the operation of the device and the function of the application to be installed in the device, determines whether the issuance of a unified license obtained by unifying licenses for enabling the application in a plurality of devices is requested.
