<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly select a monitoring apparatus installed within a range related to a certain reference place from among the plurality of monitoring apparatuses even though the number of the plurality of monitoring apparatuses is huge when the installation positions of the plurality of monitoring apparatuses are managed. <P>SOLUTION: In this monitoring apparatus selection program, the position of a place where a disaster or the like takes place as a reference place to be reference for selection is designated. Range designation information for designating a range (selection range) related to the reference place is designated (S102). Only cameras present within the selection range related to the reference place are selected from among managed cameras.
