摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid crystal from being quenched by a temperature difference between itself and a transfer head to enable it to correct an arrangement change through natural heat dissipation, when a liquid crystal panel is unloaded from a stage by the use of a transfer head, even if the liquid crystal stays in a state that it is has not been fully cooled, after a flexible board has been fixed to the liquid crystal panel by thermal crimping. <P>SOLUTION: An electro-optic device manufacturing method comprises a heat crimping process of fixing the flexible board 3 with respect to a liquid crystal panel 2 with liquid crystal by heat crimping; and a transfer process of transferring the liquid crystal panel 2 to which the flexible board is fixed by heat crimping, by sucking it by the suction surface 15a of a metal transfer head 15. In the transfer process, the suction surface 15a of the metal transfer head 15 sucking the liquid crystal panel 2 is heated by a heater unit 21, to prevent the liquid crystal from quenching by the temperature difference, when the suction surface 15a is brought into contact with the liquid crystal panel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
