<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform for a container which is made of a polylactic acid resin having good heat resistance and crystallinity which have not been seen so far. <P>SOLUTION: The preform is obtained by heat-treating the opening of a preform by extrusion or injection molding formed from a resin comprising poly L-lactic acid incorporated with a specified functional filler which has a number average molecular weight of 60,000-80,000.
