PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus wherein a user can easily understand that print processing is performed under a condition different from a setting condition by informing the user that the image forming apparatus performs the print processing under the condition different from the user setting print condition. SOLUTION: Even when reverse order print processing is set by an entry operation of a forward order/reverse order setting key 5a by the user, the forward order print processing may be performed because the remaining capacity of an image memory 8 is small. In this case, after the forward print processing is finished, a recording section 3 prints out a message denoting that the print processing is performed under the print condition different from the user's setting (performance of forward order print processing) on paper. Information of all number of pages subjected to the print processing, and information of a cause of revising the reverse order print processing into the forward order print processing (deficient residual capacity of the image memory 8) is also printed out in addition to the message.
