PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine for avoiding any erroneous transmission even in the case of designating a time or performing facsimile transmission by redialing. SOLUTION: This facsimile machine 1 connected to an LDAP server 6 for storing the latest database 6a in which destination information is collected includes: an input part 20 for accepting a transmission instruction including the destination; a retrieval part 24 for retrieving destination information in the database 6a by using the destination as a retrieval key; a transmission part 25 for executing facsimile transmission; and a control part 23 for making the retrieval part 24 execute retrieval in a first time just after accepting the transmission instruction and in a second time just before facsimile transmission in the case of accepting the transmission instruction by designating a time or just before facsimile transmission by redialing, and for making the transmission part 25 execute the facsimile transmission to the destination when the destination information including the retrieval key is present in the database 6a in the case of retrieval in the first time and in the second time.
