PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtained by disposing a photosensitive layer containing at least an electron transport agent, a charge-generating agent and a binder resin on a conductive substrate, wherein the electron transport agent is a compound represented by general Formula (1), wherein R denotes a 1-6C straight-chain or branched alkyl group, a 6-20C aryl group which may have a 1-6C straight-chain or branched alkyl group as a substituent, a 6-20C aralkyl group, a 3-10C cycloalkyl group or a 1-6C straight-chain or branched alkoxy group.
