PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material giving an image of high image quality and having improved physical properties of film. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material has an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a first reducing agent for silver ions and a first binder on at least one surface of a support and a non-photosensitive outermost layer above the same surface of the support on which the image forming layer is present, wherein the heat developable photosensitive material has a non-photosensitive intermediate layer A between the image forming layer and the outermost layer. The non-photosensitive intermediate layer A contains at least a second reducing agent for silver ions and a second binder and≥50 mass% of the second binder is a polymer latex having an I/O ratio of 0.05-0.50.
