PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a corrosion-resisting metal flake pigment excellent in productivity and capable of corresponding to cost needs. SOLUTION: By dry plating, Al film is formed on the surface of a substrate having base resistance, a corrosion-resistant metal film comprising Ni, Cr or Ti is formed on the Al film. The Al film and the corrosion-resistant film are soaked in an alkaline solution with the substrate, the Al film is dissolved by irradiating ultrasonic wave to exfoliate the corrosion-resistant film, and the corrosion-resistant film is disrupted. By serially laminating the Al film and the corrosion-resistant film, plural corrosion-resistant films can be obtained at the same time and, in this case, a mixed flake comprising different corrosion-resistant metals can be obtained.
