PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stabilization-treating a carbonized product not to be un-stabilized like an organic chemical under a using environment even by treating with a chemical so as not to cause a trouble in the utilization of carbonized products afterwards, and also even in sewage-treatment works where a poly iron is used as an agglomerating agent, enabling the use of such the poly iron as a stabilizing agent to reduce required cost in the sewage treatment works. SOLUTION: This method for producing a carbonized product by dehydrating concentrated sludge produced after the sewage discharged water treatment to make dehydrated sludge, hot air-drying the dehydrated sludge by a dryer to make dried sludge, and then heating for dry distillation treatment of the dried sludge in a carbonizing oven under non-oxygen or a low oxygen condition is provided by mixing an iron salt such as a poly ferric sulfate, ferric chloride, etc., with the carbonized product after the dry distillation treatment for suppressing the elution of harmful substances from the carbonized product.
