<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of efficiently supplying oxygen to an oxidant electrode, discharging water from near the oxidant electrode and improving output. <P>SOLUTION: With this fuel cell, oxygen can be efficiently supplied to the oxidant electrode 4 through a granular structure of a material including ceria (cerium oxide (CeO<SB>2</SB>)) structuring an oxygen permeable layer 5. The water near the oxidant electrode 4 can be discharged through grain boundary of the material including ceria. Thus, a permeating route of oxygen and a water discharge route can be separated by using this oxygen permeable layer 5 and it is possible to inhibit water discharge from hindering oxygen permeation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
