PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustor assembly capable of maintaining firm coupling between a ceramic combustor drum and a metal support assembly over a relatively wide temperature range. SOLUTION: The combustor assembly is provided with the support assembly 16 for absorbing a difference in thermal expansion between the metal support assembly 16 and a ceramic combustor drum section 10. An air-fuel mixer 12 and an ignitor 14 are attached to the support assembly 16 fixed to the ceramic combustor drum 18 receiving a combustion product of an ignited air-fuel mixer. An inclined contact junction part 31 partitioned by a front side support ring 30 allows sliding of a support assembly 16A with respect to the ceramic combustor drum 18 during expansion. A proper clearance is required between the front side support ring 30 and the ceramic combustor drum 18, to avoid contact caused by the thermal expansion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
