PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a X-ray imaging apparatus and the method for adjustment of the rotary surface to figure out the rotary surface with a X-ray detector not using X-ray films, and adjust the rotary surface. SOLUTION: The method for adjustment of the rotary surface includes the step (S62) of detecting the area of a first X ray from a X-ray tube 125 arranged on the first position with a X-ray detector 70, the step of moving the X-ray tube from the first position to the second position different from the first position, the step (S62) of detecting the area of the second X ray from the X-ray tube 125 arranged on the second position with the X-ray detector 70, and the step (S64) of computing the amount of adjustment of the X-ray tube 125 and a collimator 126 from the detected areas of the first and second X rays.
