PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an increase in the size of an electric motor portion and power consumption by minimizing the axial movement of a rotor. SOLUTION: This electric control valve comprises an axial stopper mechanism (the end surface 43 of the rotor 33 and the stopper end surface 44 of a rotor receiving member 36) for restraining the axial movement of the movable stopper piece 40 of a rotor 33 axially moving according to the rotation in the direction separating from a fixed stopper piece 42.
