PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bait box for fishing housing a collected aquatic insect in a live state without damaging the aquatic insect. SOLUTION: The bait box 10 for fishing comprises a container body 11 and a lid body 12. The container body 11 is integrally equipped with the lid body 12 and provided with a front wall 13, a rear wall 14, side walls 15 and 16 and a base part 17. The wall parts are composed of one two-layered sheet 25, respectively. The bait box 10 in a sheet-like developed state can be used as a collecting tool for collecting the aquatic insect. The two-layered sheet 25 can be composed so as to be bendable in the boundary with partition wall parts. The bait box 10 is changed into a container posture by bending the two-layered sheet 25. Notches 38, etc., protruding pieces 39, etc., are formed in edges in which the respective wall parts are abutted when bending the wall parts, respectively.
