PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet punching device and an image forming device, capable of restraining useless electric power consumption, particularly in a punch unit of a small number of holes, by setting electric power of a motor for a punching driving mechanism, in response to the number of punching holes formed in a punching means. SOLUTION: This sheet punching device B has carrying means 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 and 12 carrying a sheet delivered from an image processor or an image forming device, and the punching means 8 punching the sheet carried from the carrying means, and further has a control means 47 changing the electric power supplied to the motor 21 for the punching driving mechanism of the punching means 8 in response to the number of punching holes of the punching means.
