<p>Provided is an on-vehicle control device and an electric power steering device appropriate for preventing execution of an inspection program while a normal control mode is being executed. A ROM (15c) stores an encoded inspection program for executing the inspection mode in advance. When a inspection mode start flag FD is set to "1", the encoded inspection program is read from the ROM (15c) so that the encoded inspection program which has been read in is decoded onto a RAM (15e) and decoded inspection program is executed. When the inspection program is completed, the inspection program is erased from the RAM (15e).</p> |
