<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating apparatus capable of efficiently radiating heat in a reflection section, and to provide a camera provided therewith. <P>SOLUTION: A flange section 12d is provided at the edge part in the long side of the opening part 12a in a reflection shade 12 for reflecting a flash in a xenon tube 11, and the flange section 12d and a heat radiation plate 13 are face-contacted. In this way, the reflection shade 12 and the heat radiation plate 13 are connected, the heat of the reflection shape 12 accompanying heat generation upon flashing in the xenon tube 11 is efficiently conducted to the heat radiation plate 13, the heat is radiated from the surface of the heat radiation plate 13, and the rise in the temperature of the reflection shade 12 is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
