<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress moving back of a vehicle against the intent of a driver on a climbing road in a vehicle equipped with a capacitor connected to a rotary electrical machinery for traveling. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program including: a step to presume that moving back of a vehicle occurs (S112), if a present traveling road is a climbing road (YES at S102), if brake-on is carried out (YES at S106), and if the vehicle speed V is smaller than the predetermined threshold V(0) (YES at S110); a step to compute capacitor electric energy Q (S116); a step to decide whether the capacitor electric energy Q is smaller than the predetermined threshold Q(0) (S118); and a step to transmit a control signal to a converter so that it may discharge from the capacitor 900 to a battery 700 (NO at S118) until the capacitor electric energy Q becomes smaller than the threshold Q(0) (YES at S118)(S120). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
