PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for efficiently carrying out an editing work common in a plurality of imposed pages.

SOLUTION: The method comprises: producing an imposition finished page data by imposing a plurality of page data representing a plurality of pages according to a predetermined imposition pattern (step S3); designating a page group for common edition as an object of common edition in the plurality of pages (step S4); designating the priority in a plurality of page groups if a plurality of page groups for common edition are designated (step S6); and editing the page group for common edition so as to execute the common edition processing at one time on the whole page data included in the page group (step S9). At that time, the common edition processing is executed on each page of the imposition finished page data so as to reflect the imposition state of the page data group for common edition.
