<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict the delivery schedule time of a cargo in more details, in home delivery. <P>SOLUTION: This cargo delivery time predicting system is composed of a delivery schedule file of registering delivery schedule destination ID together with an address, a travel time database of registering travel time up to the first delivery destination from a delivery base and travel time between delivery destinations, a delivery cycle database of registering delivery order in association with the delivery schedule destination ID, a schedule time calculating part for calculating the delivery schedule time every delivery destination, and a terminal unit for outputting and displaying the delivery schedule time every delivery destination. The schedule time calculating part reads out the first delivery schedule destination ID, reads out the travel time up to the first delivery destination, adds the travel time to starting time of the delivery base, calculates the delivery schedule time of the first delivery schedule destination, reads out the next delivery schedule destination, adds the travel time between the delivery destinations to the delivery schedule time of the first delivery schedule destination, calculates the delivery schedule time of the next delivery schedule destination, repeats the above calculation, calculates the delivery schedule time of the whole delivery schedule destinations, and outputs and displays the delivery schedule time to and on the terminal unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
