摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position controller capable of controlling an absolute position, where a target angle from a high-order system becomes an angle from an original point, by using an incremental angle sensor without necessity to command an original point search operation by the high-order system, and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: The position controller includes: an original point detecting part for outputting a second speed command when the original point is not detected yet; an angle calculating part for subtracting the angle from the original point from a position deviation in the case of the first original point detection; and a switcher for switching the speed command in response to an original point detection state.
