PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more compact display panel and a display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel P1 is equipped with a liquid crystal structure 10 comprising a plurality of display pixels, a control element 20 to control driving of the display pixels, a wiring pattern 123 partially disposed between the liquid crystal structure 10 and the control element 20 for electrically connecting the display pixels and the control element 20, and an external connection member 30 for connecting the control element 20 to an external circuit. At least a part of the external connection member 20 is disposed in an arrangement region of the wiring pattern 123 placed between the display pixels and the control element 20.
