PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that maintains stable cleaning performance over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a developing section which develops an image on a photoreceptor drum 31 into a toner image; a transfer section which transfers a toner image to a transfer body; and a drum cleaner 36, by which toner that is left, without being transferred by the transfer section, is cleaned off the photoreceptor drum 31 and which has a cleaning roll 365 and a cleaning blade 363. In the cleaning blade 363, the material of, at least the part that is in contact with the photoreceptor drum 31, is a material that satisfies Formula (1): 3.92≤M≤29.42, and Formula (2): S≥250 or a material that satisfies Formula (3): A≥-2.5×M+102, wherein M represents 100% modulus (MPa), S represents elongation at break (%), and A represents the contact angle (°) relative to pure water.
