PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce outside diameters of bearing parts of a first case body and a second case body constituting a hinge mechanism of a personal digital assistant and facilitate wiring of a signal wire in the first and second case bodies when assembling it. SOLUTION: This personal digital assistant 1 is provided with the first case body 2 incorporating electronic parts, the second case body 3 incorporating electronic parts, the hinge mechanism 6 for connecting the first and second case bodies mutually, openably, and closably, and the signal wire 7 inserted into the inside of the hinge mechanism 6 to connect the electronic parts in the inside of the first case body with the electronic parts in the inside of the second case body electrically. The hinge mechanism has a shaft core part 5b surrounding a part of the whole length of the signal wire as a shaft member and a hollow outer shell part 5c surrounding the shaft core part for reinforcement.
