PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil receiving device of a guide rail of an elevator capable of receiving a lubricating oil dripping from a lower end of the guide rail even when any oil receiving pan is installed on an upper face of a hydraulic jack installation stand. SOLUTION: A hydraulic jack installation stand 3 is formed on a floor surface of an elevator hoistway, and a hydraulic jack 5 is installed on a substantially center part thereof. A guide rail fixing member 60 is fixed to the floor surface of the elevator hoistway so as to be projected upwardly from the hydraulic jack installation stand along a side face of the hydraulic jack installation stand, and a guide rail 6 for guiding the elevating/lowering of an elevator car is fixed to the guide rail fixing member so that its lower end is located above an upper face of the hydraulic jack installation stand. An oil receiving pan 7 is arranged on the floor surface of the elevator hoistway aside the hydraulic jack installation stand, and an oil guide passage member 8 for receiving the lubricating oil dripping from the guide rail and guiding the oil is provided.
