PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-wear pants type paper diaper relating to the pants type paper diaper for which a product width is adjustable. SOLUTION: In the pants type paper diaper comprising a waist opening WO, a pair of right and left leg openings LOs, a girth part T determined as a cross section range from the edge of the waist opening WO to the upper end of the leg openings LOs, and a leg part L determined as a range from the lower end of the girth part T in the front section F through a crotch part CR to the lower end of the girth part T in the back section B, the leg part L comprises front side part 20F positioned on the front side in the cross direction and a back side part 20B positioned on the back side, and the front side part 20F and the back side part 20B are freely detachably connected by connecting means 21F and 21B such as a mechanical fastener.
