The controller (4) stops door (2) movement as soon as the drive current varies above a given maximum. It then reverses the drive (3) in a first phase of short duration. Drive is reversed once more, in a second phase, which resumes closure. At the same time the controller raises the given maximum by a set amount. The original maximum value is a set magnitude of drive current. It is calculated from the normal value of drive current, during the original closure motion, preferably as a mean of the current. |
