A dielectric layer, a plasma display panel, and a method for manufacturing the PDP are provided to decrease a waste of a dielectric material by forming a dielectric layer using a dispensing process, instead of a laminating process. A plasma display panel includes a substrate(100), plural sustain electrode pairs(120), and first and second dielectric layers(130,140). The sustain electrode pairs are arranged on the substrate. The first dielectric layer is arranged on the sustain electrode pairs. The second dielectric layer is arranged to cover upper portions of respective sustain electrode pairs on the first dielectric layer. The second dielectric layer is formed by using a dispensing process. A height of the second dielectric layer lies between 20 and 40mum. The second dielectric layer has round corners.
