<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability and durability of an ignition coil by suppressing the occurrence of partial defects in an insulating resin layer between two winding bodies. SOLUTION: An ignition coil 10 is provided with a case 11 and an inner core 12, a secondary coil 13, a primary coil 14, an outer core 15, etc., which are housed in the case 11. The space between each member housed in the case 11 is filled with an insulating layer 16 made of thermosetting resin. The primary coil 14 has a bobbin-less structure and is composed of a winding body 35 and sleeves 37 and 38 which are positioned on both end sides of the winding body 35 and around which part of an insulating coating line 34 is wound.</p> |
