A transportation device comprising a primary platform for carrying a user of the device, an axle located beneath the primary platform at any non mid-point along the length of the platform to receive a primary drive wheel, a pivot member rotatably attached to the primary platform, a primary drive wheel rotatably attached to the axle for driving the device, drive means attached to the pivot member and to the axle such that motion of the pivot member relative to the primary platform causes rotation of the primary drive wheel. |
