A stereo display device with a stereo visible zone is provided to display a three-dimensional image safely only when a person comes in a stereo visible area, thereby reducing the dizziness when watching the stereo image. A distance measuring sensor is equipped to upper or lower ends of the center of a display device and measures the distance. The sensor is applied to an approached customer(100) so that the output voltage is obtained. A real time conversion member(700) performs a switching operation by a comparing circuit for comparing the distance between the sensor and the customer estimated through the output voltage with the predetermined value. A display slit control module(800) converts an image into two or three dimensional stereo images by the switching a signal from the real time conversion member. As a result, the dimensional stereo images are displayed. The distance measuring sensor is a photo-diode sensor or an ultra-sonic sensor.
