An 8-speed power train of an automatic transmission are provided to improve a speed shifting feeling by driving one of two manipulation elements during a speed shifting process. A Ravigneaux planetary gear set(DPG) includes first and second linear gears(S1,S2), first to third planetary carriers(PC1-PC3), and first and second ring gears(R1,R2). The first linear gear is connected to a case through a third brake(B3). The first planetary carrier is connected to the input shaft through a first clutch. The first and second ring gears are connected to the case through a fourth brake. A first single pinion planetary gear set(SPG1) includes a third linear gear(S3), a fourth planetary carrier(PC4), and a third ring gear(R3). The third linear gear is connected to the case through a fourth brake. The fourth planetary carrier is connected to the input shaft through a second clutch. A second single pinion planetary gear set(SPG2) includes a fourth linear gear(S4), a fifth planetary carrier(PC5), and a fourth ring gear(R4). The fourth linear gear is connected to the case through a second brake. The fifth planetary carrier is gear-coupled with the fourth linear gear and directly connected to an output shaft. The fourth ring gear is gear-coupled with the fifth planetary carrier and connected to the case through a fifth brake.
