An 8-speed power train of an automatic transmission is provided to minimize vibration during a speed shifting process by maintaining an operation state of one of two operation elements during a skip shift process. A first Ravigneaux gear set(RG) includes first and second linear gears, first to third planetary carriers, and first and second ring gears. A single pinion planetary gear set(SPG) includes a third linear gear, a fourth planetary carrier, and a third ring gear. A double pinion planetary gear set(DPG) includes a fourth linear gear, fifth and sixth planetary carriers, and a fourth ring gear. The fourth linear gear is directly coupled with the first and second ring gears. The fifth and sixth planetary carriers are gear-coupled with the fourth linear gear and directly coupled with the third linear gear. The fifth and sixth planetary carriers are coupled with an input shaft through a second clutch. The fourth ring gear is gear-coupled with the fifth and sixth planetary carriers. The fourth ring gear is connected to the input shaft through the third clutch and directly connected to the fourth planetary carrier.
