<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for recording/reproducing a broadcast program and a method for reserved recording of a broadcast program with which automatic update of recording reservation information can be executed, corresponding to changes of a program title, recording of the other reserved programs will not be affected, even when a reservation time is changed with the automatic change of reservation information, and recording reservation can be automatically canceled at the end of the broadcast of a series. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A recording reservation update means 217 acquires new program information, on the basis of new program data 212 (S101) and detects new broadcasting time information regarding the reserved program from among the new program information by using a title character string of the reserved program stored in a recording reservation storage means 216 (S102). The reservation time information, stored in the recording reservation storage means 216, is read out (S103). The new broadcasting time information is compared with the reservation time information (S104). When the new broadcasting time information does not agree with the reservation time information, as a result of the comparison, program reservation connecting processing (S105) is executed.
