PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor for bicycle that can ensure a high S/N ratio with a low-cost, simple structure, can be assembled easily, can easily and reliably transfer data between a non-rotary part and a rotary part. SOLUTION: In the torque sensor, a strain gauge 19 is provided on the outer- periphery arc surface of a sensor top 6 in nearly anΩshape to detect a distortion value, and both the end parts of the sensor top 6 are provided between a clamp arm 1 and a sprocket 2 that is supported rotatably for the clamp arm 1, thus detecting compression force that operates relatively between the clamp arm 1 and the sprocket 2 according to a stress value being detected by the strain gauge 19. |
