A mobile device for gas leak detection is provided to improve leak detection efficiency by moving a gas leak detection device along a gas pipe and automatically compensating tilting of the device. A mobile device for gas leak detection comprises a moving unit(15) moved along a gas pipe, a driving unit(10) driving the moving unit, a gas leak sensor(30) sensing gas leakage, an auxiliary moving unit moving along the gas pipe and controlling tilting of the gas leakage sensor, an inclination sensor sensing whether the gas leakage sensor is inclined, and a control unit(100) controlling the driving unit.
