<p>A shoe sole is constructed from a raw material comprising a primary constituent of recycled shoes which have been subjected to the removal of metal accessories, pulverization to pieces 5 mm in diameter, high temperature deodorization and hot air drying. The high temperature deodorization may comprise feeding the material into an enclosed tunnel-like conveying device and subjecting material to steam deodorization at approximately or above 120{C. In an alternative aspect the pulverized raw material comprises 5-90% of the sole material mixed with a base rubber (5-90%) and additives (5-10%) and is processed by a planar rolling device into a sheet material with a preferred thickness of 1-50 mm. Filling agents comprising kaolin, calcium carbonate or glass powder may be added to the sheet material.</p> |
