PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque rod capable of satisfactorily realizing the isolation of vibration in idling and the reduction of booming noise in acceleration and enabling its shape to be held compactly. SOLUTION: In this torque rod 22 having a first bush 26, a second bush 28, and a rigid connection part 30, a rigid and ring-shaped intermediate plate 48 is installed in a second bush 28 formed of a large bush so as to surround an inner cylinder 42, and recessed parts 50 and 52 are formed in the intermediate plate 48 at the front and rear positions, and a first rubber stopper part 66 abutting on the intermediate plate 48 in acceleration to perform a stopper action and a second rubber stopper part 68 abutting on the rubber leg 46 of a rubber elastic body 44 to perform a stopper action are installed parallel with each other on the inside outer tube 40 side of the recessed part 52.
