PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of taking a vivid picture. SOLUTION: Deviation dX and deviation dY are caused with the deviation of an optical axis due to the movement of a zoom lens and a focus lens between a detection range 42 provided in a photographic area 40 so as to perform AE detection and AF detection and a subject 41. Since the camera is equipped with a storage means in which a correction value to correct the deviation dX and the deviation dY is previously stored, the position of the range 42 is corrected for the respective positions of the zoom lens and the focus lens. Thus, image data corresponding to the corrected detection range 43 is selected for the image data obtained by a solid-state image pickup element. Therefore, the AE detection and the AF detection are performed based on the selected image data, so that an appropriate exposure value and a focusing position are obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
