An apparatus for cleaning a printer head is provided to prevent clogging of a nozzle since a cleaning unit using an ultrasonic vibrator is integrally formed with a head assembly. A printer head assembly(10) having a head cleaning system comprises a printer head(12) jetting ink supplied through an ink channel through a nozzle, an ultrasonic vibrating element(20) performing a cleaning function and integrally formed with the printer head, and a sensor installed in a pressure chamber of the printer head to detect clogging of the nozzle.
