A kitchen and indoor ventilation system in a community residential housing and a three-way damper to be used therein are provided to exhaust room air by using a kitchen space connection duct instead of using a room exhaust duct or a room ceiling grill and using two 3-way dampers instead of using four dampers in a simplified structure. A kitchen and indoor ventilation system in a community residential housing includes an air supply/exhaust connection duct(40) for connecting an air exhaust connection duct(22) to a kitchen space connection duct(25) by a third wing(24b), which opens or closes the air supply/exhaust connection duct, for discharging room air to a main exhaust duct(21) via a kitchen space(12), the kitchen space connection duct, and the air exhaust connection duct, when first wings(24a) block exhaust from a kitchen hood(11) to the air exhaust connection duct and second wings(34a) block air supply to the main exhaust duct via the air supply connection duct. An air supply connection duct(32) is connected to a room space connection duct(35) and a room ceiling grill(36) by a fourth wing(34b) which opens or closes the air supply connection duct, for supplying room air by an air supply fan(33), when the air supply for the kitchen space is blocked by the second wings. The first to fourth wings are driven by 3-way dampers(24,34) respectively.
