<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed tray, preventing positional shifting of the uppermost paper sheet in setting a sheaf of paper sheets on the tray. <P>SOLUTION: This paper feed tray is composed of: a tray body 1; a lifting member 2 lifting the leading end of a paper sheet in the body; a spring 4 energizing the lifting member 2; and a cover body 3 fitted to the tray body 1 and rotated to open and close the tray body, the draw-out side of which is a free end. A projecting piece 8 for pressing the end edge of the paper sheet projecting over the edge of the tray is projected on the side edge intersecting perpendicularly to the axis of the rotating shaft of the cover body 3. When the uppermost paper sheet 61 projects over the tray, the projecting piece 8 is abutted on the edge part of the paper sheet 61 to be pressed downward in the course of closing the cover body 3. The force in the direction of releasing from the projecting piece 8 is applied to the paper sheet 61. The paper sheet 61 is moved to the side wall 13 side on the opposite side to the pressing side of the tray body 1, and correctly positioned by the side wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
