MECHANICAL LOCKING DEVICE FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE DOOR

A mechanical locking device for a vehicle door is provided to enable a driver to check whether the door is opened or closed and to secure safety of passengers in an emergency by interlocking a limit switch with the rotation of a double hook plate. A mechanical locking device for opening and closing doors by operating a door engine installed near both doors is composed of drive brackets attached on door leaves of both doors, respectively; hanging pins protruded at one side of the drive bracket; and a double hook plate(10) having hooks(11,12) formed at both ends and hung to the hanging pin. The hooks are turned by external operations and hung to the hanging pin to prevent the doors from being opened.
