SHIP HAVING HEAVY FUEL OIL STORING TANK ON UPPER DECK

A ship having a heavy fuel oil storing tank on an upper deck is provided to reduce length of a pipe without restriction on installation of inner structures of the ship. A ship includes a heavy fuel oil storing tank(10), a heavy fuel oil supplying apparatus, and a pipe line. The heavy fuel oil storing tank is installed on an upper deck(34) between a stern and a resident structure. The heavy fuel oil supplying apparatus supplies heavy fuel oil to an engine from the heavy fuel oil storing tank. The pipe line supplies the heavy fuel oil to the engine from the heavy fuel oil storing tank via the heavy fuel oil supplying apparatus. In case that the heavy fuel oil storing tank is composed of a plurality of tank units, a tank connecting pipe is mounted in the ship to move the heavy fuel oil between the tank units.
