THE CHARACTERIST OF WATER-PROOF STIMULUS COATING METHOD ON WOVEN, NON- WOVEN FABRIC AND PAPER SHEET WITH CRM MODIFIED ASPHALT

A method for manufacturing a waterproof sheet using asphalt modified with waste tire rubber powder is provided to solve the environmental problem caused by the use of a petroleum-based solvent, and to improve thermal properties, low-temperature properties and durability of asphalt. A method for manufacturing a waterproof sheet using asphalt modified with waste tire rubber powder comprises the steps of: mixing 200 g of waste tire rubber powder(80 mesh) with 40g of process oil and 1000 g of asphalt in an agitator to obtain asphalt modified with waste tire rubber powder having a softening point of 70-80 deg.C; heating and melting the modified asphalt; and spray coating the asphalt onto a polyester sheet(3) to a uniform thickness of 0.1-2.0 mm, stacking another polyester sheet(2) on the top of the resultant coating layer, leveling the sheet by a blade, and cutting the sheet into a desired size.
