The device (1) has a coolant cooler (3) flowable through air, and an axial blower (4) arranged in an air flowing direction (L) behind the cooler. A frame (5) is arranged between the cooler and blower, and has a frame ring (6) in which the blower is rotatably arranged. Radial flow conducting units (9) run in a radial direction and are arranged behind the axial blower in the air flowing direction. The conducting units are fastened at the frame ring and arranged over the circumference of the blower in a distributed manner. The units have front edges (9a) that are arranged in a radial plane.
