A window opening and closing apparatus using an air cylinder is provided to simplify a structure and to minimize the occurrence of defects by having an air cylinder using air pressure. A window opening and closing apparatus using an air cylinder comprises a left cylinder(10) and a right cylinder(20) made of synthetic resins, connected to each other by a rod(17) in a horizontal direction and equipped with a piston coupled with a packing member at the end of the rod, a moving member(18) coupled to the rod by a bolt to move together with the rod and provided with shock absorbing units at two ends to absorb shock caused by colliding with the right and left cylinders, right and left hoses connected to the end of the right and left cylinders to supply or discharge air for operating the rod, a changeover valve(30) connected to the other end of the right and left hoses and provided with a handle(31) to change direction to supply air to the right or left hose, and a mounting member(40) provided with a pair of stoppers(41) having a hole at the center to penetrate and move the rod between the right and left cylinders to prevent the compulsory movement of the moving member to keep a window(1) not to be damaged. |
