BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

A backlight assembly and a display device having the same are provided to apply power to a film speaker by using the line terminal of a light source FPCB, thereby overcoming the limitation of the backlight assembly including the film speaker. A backlight assembly comprises a point light source(200), a light source FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board)(300), a light guide plate and a film speaker(500). The point light source generates light. The point light source is disposed on the light source FPCB. The light guide plate is disposed in a side portion of the light source FPCB to guide the light from the point light source in an upper direction. The film speaker is electrically connected to the light source FPCB.
