A display device and a manufacturing method for the display device are provided to manufacture a back cover by the same mold and use a changed core only in a portion where a forward/backward shaking prevention unit is formed, thereby applying conveniently different size and thickness of flat display modules to a single cover, and reducing production cost. A display device comprises a front cover(1), a display module(2), a shield guide(5), a metal shield(6), a substrate(40,41) and a back cover(7). The display module is set in the rear of the front cover. The shield guide is received in the display module. The metal shield is positioned by the display module. The substrate is received in the inside of the metal shield. The back cover pushes the metal shield to the front to fix strongly the position of the metal shield. The back covers include additionally a forward/backward shaking prevention unit which contacts the rear of the metal shield and/or the display module to prevent the shaking of a contact object.
